HOT POWER VINYASA

Level One Hot Power Vinyasa
Don’t be misled by the name. Level One doesn’t mean easy. This class can be more challenging than our signature Hot Power Vinyasa in many ways with longer, deeper holds and an emphasis on building strength. It’s a slow burn and we go slow enough for a newcomer to feel safe and understand what we are trying to feel in each pose.
In these classes we may not get to the faster pace of “one breath, one movement” like we do in our signature classes. However, because of this, we are able to go deeper into the structure of each posture and take our time to grow.
All are welcome in Level One classes. They are not just for beginners.

Hot Power Vinyasa
This is Yoga Nyla’s signature class. It is a creative, dynamic, flow-based practice. Each class is designed to meet you where you are while helping you find your personal edge.
Each class is a combination of intentional elements that create a holistic experience such as:
+ long, deep, yin postures to help you focus on meditation and calm your nervous system
+ the practice of “one breath, one movement” which creates a dance-like, flow
+ long holds in yang postures which help you build strength and endurance
+ training in the anaerobic threshold at the peak of class which increases strength like nothing else
+ breathwork
Hot Power Vinyasa feels both challenging and grounding. Classes are heated to 99*F.

Kundalini Yoga
Focused on unlocking your inner vitality, Kundalini combines breathwork, movement, meditation, and chanting to awaken energy at the base of the spine. This is intended to promote clarity, well-being, and heightened awareness.
Each class flows through structured sets of poses, breath patterns, and focus points called kriyas. This supports your body’s natural rhythms. In a Kundalini class you'll alternate between moments of active effort and relaxation allowing you to observe the change of sensation in your body.
While all forms of yoga focus on moving energy through the body, each one is a different recipe to get you there.
Kundalini is a yoga practice that is unheated and includes intervals of dynamic movements followed by sitting still with your eyes closed.
This practice is for everyone.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a simple practice. We settle into a pose for 3-7 minutes and slowly relax our muscles to allow our deeper connective tissues to be stretched, stimulated, and strengthened.
This style of practice encourages us to listen to our bodies and lead ourselves into a shape that follows the natural contours of our spine, pelvis, and hips.
Yin Yoga is a restorative and meditative pracitce which can be challenging for someone who has a hard time sitting still. If that’s you, then this may be the perfect class for you!
We often see Yin Yoga students get the result of a more relaxed body, calmer nervous system, and decreased anxiety while in class.
