Yin Yoga For Sleep and Dreaming with Joe Barnett

  • Yoga Nyla 220 Blue Ravine Road Folsom, CA, 95630 United States (map)

Insomnia is an epidemic, and modern “grind culture” is obstructing our relationship with the dream worlds essential for the health of both the physical and subtle (astral) bodies. In this class, we’ll tap into ancient and modern understandings of the sleep and dream world, integrating Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). We settle into poses for 3-7 minutes, slowly relaxing muscles to stretch and stimulate the deeper, drier connective tissues (fascia and joint capsules). The subsequent “rebound” (meditation) draws us toward sleepiness—an optimal state for Yoga Nidra, a consciousness within the liminal spaces between waking and sleeping.

What You'll Leave With: - A toolkit of processes to observe and create surrender in your own bed at home - A renewed relationship with your inner self and your dream worlds.

Investment: $60 | Early Bird: $50 (Book by January 1st)
