WRITE NIGHTS - An AWA** Writing Workshop with Nena Larieze and Cam Mahon
Fall Workshop Series Sundays at 4:30pm Oct 12 · Nov 9th · Dec 14
Nena & Cam welcome you to Write Nights, an open invitation to explore what’s on your heart, meet yourself on the page, and be witnessed by community. Join us:
The AWA method is a creative writing practice that provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for anyone to discover and strengthen their unique voice. Using guided prompts, participants write freely and share their work, receiving only positive, affirmative feedback.
Writing can be deeply therapeutic, especially in a circle that values encouragement, presence, and celebration of each voice. Come as you are, bring your words, and let yourself be supported.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
There is no yoga involved in this class, it is simply a writing workshop. If you do not feel comfortable sitting on the floor you are encouraged to bring a chair to sit on. The writing prompts will come from Pat Schneider’s books "Writing Alone with Others" and "How the Light Gets In". There may also be some writing prompts in the form of poetry and songs.
This workshop isn’t about being a “good” writer. It’s expressing what’s in your soul, whether it be truth or fiction. It’s about connection and the transformation that happens when we put words to the page and are heard. Storytelling lights up the brain—it allows us to feel, process, and even heal. You’ll be invited to write freely, respond to prompts if they resonate, and read aloud if you wish. Everything we share is held with respect, and always confidential. Expect to leave feeling lighter, more seen, and more connected to your own inner voice. Join us Sundays this fall—you belong in this circle.
